Defender of Faith King Selassie

In this painting Defender of the Faith, the Emperor wears a khaki military uniform. His uniform includes a khaki full brimmed hat as well as a cloak that falls from his shoulders. The cloak also falls over his hands that are gently touching each other. The painting shows King Selassie in the flower of life which represents the universe of which he creates.

The flower of life forms a geometric pattern of circles, petals and beautiful shapes painted in blue, orange, yellow, red, green and brown which is a mixture of the orange and blue. Furthermore, These colors are intense and work well with each other to create harmony.
